"녹색 식량 시스템 EXPO" (Green Food System EXPO)는 지속 가능한 식량 시스템을 위한 혁신과 기술을 촉진하는 전시회입니다. 이 EXPO는 식품 산업과 관련된 다양한 분야의 전문가, 기업, 정부 기관 및 학계가 참여하는 행사로, 식품 기술, 지속 가능한 농업 방법, 환경 보호 전략 등을 다루며, 푸드테크를 통해 식품 관련 문제를 해결하는 데 중점을 둡니다. 이 행사는 참가자들에게 지식과 정보를 공유하고 네트워킹의 기회를 제공함으로써, 산업 전반에 걸쳐 혁신을 촉진하고자 합니다.

우리는 먹지 않으면 살 수 없으며, 풍부한 음식은 가치 있는 삶의 중요한 요소입니다. 하지만, 국내의 노동력 부족, 노동자의 고령화, 자연 재해의 증가, 사료 및 비료 가격의 급등 등 식의 기본이 되는 1차 산업은 심각한 문제에 직면해 있습니다. 또한, 세계적으로는 인구 증가와 식량 부족, 봉쇄에 의한 공급망 마비, 분쟁 및 환율 변동 등 세계 정세의 변화, SDGs, 지구 환경에 대한 의식의 고조 등 국내외에서 다양한 문제가 발생하고 있습니다.

이러한 배경을 바탕으로 우리는 지금 지속 가능한 식량 공급 시스템을 구축해야 합니다. 식품의 가치사슬에서 낭비가 없는 에코시스템(순환·사이클)이 요구됩니다. 이를 위해서는 먼저 '생산성 향상'과 '유용화 및 고부가가치화'를 현장에 널리 보급하는 것이 중요합니다.

1차 산업의 디지털 혁신 추진, 리스크 대응, 인재 고용 및 양성 시스템 구축 등으로 생산 효율을 크게 향상시키고, 매력적인 1차 산업을 목표로 합니다. 동시에, 식품 관련 다양한 장면에서 낭비를 줄이고, 버리지 않고 유용하게 활용하는 발상과, 창의적인 노력으로 생산물에 부가가치를 더함으로써 경제성을 높입니다. 가치사슬의 좋은 순환은 사회 문제를 해결하고, 결과적으로 고용 창출과 주변 산업의 활성화, 지방 창생에도 이바지합니다.

일본 능률 협회는 사람들을 연결하고, 지식과 정보, 기술을 연결하여 푸드테크를 통한 식품 전반의 문제 해결을 추진하기 위해 '녹색 식량 시스템 EXPO'를 개최하고, 산·관·학·민의 혁신을 촉진합니다.

We cannot survive without food, and a rich diet is an essential element of a valuable way of life. However, primary industries, the foundation of food, face serious challenges such as domestic labor shortages, an aging workforce, increasing natural disasters, and soaring prices of feed and fertilizers. Globally, issues like population growth, food shortages, supply chain disruptions due to lockdowns, conflicts, currency fluctuations, the evolving world situation, rising awareness of SDGs, and environmental concerns are prevalent.

Against this backdrop, we must now establish a sustainable food supply system. An efficient, waste-free ecosystem (circular cycle) in the food value chain is demanded. This requires the widespread implementation of 'productivity improvement' and 'utilization and value addition' at the grassroots level.

By promoting digital transformation in primary industries, addressing risks, and creating systems for employment and training, we aim to significantly enhance production efficiency and strive for an attractive primary sector. Concurrently, reducing waste in various food-related scenarios, re-utilizing without discarding, and adding value to produce through creativity and innovation will enhance economic viability. A positive cycle in the value chain can solve social issues, leading to job creation, revitalization of surrounding industries, and regional revitalization.

The Japan Productivity Center connects people, knowledge, information, and technology to advance the resolution of food-related issues through food tech. It hosts the 'Green Food System EXPO' to foster innovation among industry, government, academia, and citizens.
